Why You?
The Association draws on the skills and interests of a broad cross-section of the membership, and we want to provide our members with many opportunities to develop their professional and leadership skills. By volunteering you can help set the course for the association.
How do you benefit from serving on a committee?
Committee work can be complex and sometimes demanding, while at the same time be productive, enjoyable and rewarding. Volunteering to serve on a committee or working group offers many rewards:

- Learn leadership skills.

- Meet some amazing colleagues.
What is expected from TRAR committee members?
- Attend and actively participate in all committee meetings.
- Read and uphold the mission statement, bylaws, and strategic plan.
- prepare for meetings by reviewing the agenda and supporting documents.
- Follow through on assigned tasks.
- Work to advance the mission of the Association and serve its members.
- Respect the opinions of other committee members.
- Respect confidentiality of discussions and documents.
- Recruit future leaders.
- Stay current on issues and trends impacting the Association and the membership.
- Support other committees.
- Length of service: October through September of each year.
